The latest edition of Firefox for Mac is causing some problems when viewing certain fonts in PDFs. By implementing the solution outlined below, you should be able to view the PDF perfectly.

To change from using the built-in PDF viewer to your PDF reader plugin:

  1. On the menu bar, click on the Firefox menu and select Preferences...
  2. Select the Applications panel.
  3. Find Portable Document Format (PDF) in the list and click on it to select it.

4.      Click on the drop-down arrow in the Action column for the above entry and select Use PDF reader name - usually Adobe Reader (in Firefox)
