Howard Buffett’s book Forty Chances: Finding Hope in a Hungry World could have been a vanity project about his philanthropic work to reduce world hunger. Instead, through 40 stories about hunger, farming, poverty and war he offers insight, humility and possible solutions.
His father, Warren Buffett describes the book as a “guidebook for intelligent philanthropy.”
The book presents an interesting summary of the forces that keep poverty and hunger alive and how they could be addressed. For more information http://www.40chances.com/
