Interdisciplinary Research on Philanthropy: Connecting the Dots - 2015 ERNOP Conference

News (International, UK)
The European Research Network On Philanthropy (ERNOP) has announced a call for submissions for its 7th International Conference, to be held at ESSEC Business School in Paris on 9-10 July 2015.

Philanthropy research in Europe is carried out by scholars from a wide variety of disciplines and dispersed amongst different countries, towns, universities, faculties and research centers. The conference is designed to host scholars across different disciplines who are all involved in the research of philanthropy, or its connected subjects. This is the theme for the 2015 conference: Connecting the Dots.

With an emphasis on generating new knowledge and academic rigour in philanthropy research, a key theme for discussion will be how to and transcend individual geographical areas or subject disciplines when looking at giving. Keynote speakers include: Prof. Avner Ben-Ner (Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota) and Prof. Johanna Mair (Hertie School of Governance, Berlin).

The deadline for abstracts is 15 Feb 2015
