The National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO) Funding Central website last week launched a service dedicated to those seeking partners to jointly bid for grants and contracts.

The ‘partner zone’ will allow users of the site to create an online profile and undertake a comprehensive search to locate organisations that are looking for partners or who may be interested in jointly working on a funding or finance opportunity.

Users will also be able to describe their activities and share their experiences of applying for funding. They will then be able to decide if they want to share these experiences with other groups by making their profile public and searchable.

Graham Collins, sustainable funding programme manager at NCVO, says, “With more and more organisations wanting to collaborate this will help users find those who want to work together on a project or who are looking to put in joint bids for funding and contract opportunities. It’s a win-win situation for everyone who uses the site.”
