6-8 October (Melbourne, Australia): Social Enterprise World Forum. This forum will explore the role social enterprises play in encouraging and facilitating social inclusion and will bring together practitioners with supporters and investors. 

9 October (Luxembourg): Responsible leadership in times of change. This conference will enable active trustees and CEOs of European foundations to come together, discuss their experiences and lay the ground work for effective solutions in the aftermath of the finance crisis.

14-16 September (Oxford): International Social Innovation Research Conference 2009. This conference at the Saïd Business School, Oxford University, brings together the UK Social Entrepreneurship Research Conference and the International Social Entrepreneurship Research Conference (ISERC). It will combine a focus on social enterprise in the UK with practitioner-driven content and international academic social entrepreneurship research.

2009-2011 (Heidelberg, Germany): Masters in Nonprofit Management & Governance. The Centre for Social Investment at the University of Heidelberg offers a masters degree in Nonprofit Management and Governance over four semesters. 

17 October (Ixtapa, Mexico): The Opportunity Collaboration. A four-day networking and problem-solving offsite commencing on world poverty day that will be co-convened by MicroCredit Enterprise and the Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs.

22 Oct (London): Association of Charitable Foundations conference. This one day conference will offer a mix of plenaries and workshops looking at future priorities for trusts and foundations, with the opportunity to meet and network with colleagues from across the independent grant-making sector. 

25-31 October (Stanford, USA): Business Strategies for Environmental Sustainability. A new executive programme for leaders in business, government, non-profit, and political action organisations. This five-day programme delivers innovative approaches to advancing environmental sustainability across organisations.

Jan-Dec 2010: Clore Social Leadership Programme. The Clore Social Leadership Programme, established in 2008 by the Clore Duffield Foundation as a new initiative to identify and develop emerging talent in the third sector, has opened applications for its first group of fellowships.
