Winners of the Most Admired Charity and Most Innovative Charity at Third Sector's Britain's Most Admired Charities awards were the Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust (JRCT) and Venturesome, a project of the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF), respectively.

Both organisations are members of the Association of Charitable Foundations, and received around 30% of the votes in their sections. The winners were chosen in an online poll by chief executives of the UK’s top 500 fundraising charities.

Third Sector called the two winners "enablers" for the continuing good work done, with Venturesome’s core work for the past five years offering loans and alternative finance to sector organisations.

And, JRCT has for over a century made grants to projects tackling social problems.
