Corporate philanthropy on the rise in Czech Republic

News

Czech corporate philanthropy has grown in both size and profile in the last few years, according to Pavlina Kalousova of the Czech Donors Forum.

She told the Prague Post: “In the past few years, we’ve seen corporate philanthropy become a key part of the corporate structure. This can have a significant impact on a company’s value on the market… The situation in society has changed. People want companies to behave responsibly.”

The Donors Forum, an umbrella organisation for foundations and companies, works to cultivate a healthy environment for giving, support inter-sectoral cooperation, and build an infrastructure for philanthropy in the Czech Republic.
