The City of London Corporation are seeking applications for the Sustainable City Awards. The Awards seek to promote organisations which contribute to sustainable development, in the broadest sense. The categories are -

• Sustainable and Responsible Finance
• Adapting to and mitigating Climate Change
• Sustainable Travel and Transport
• Resource Conservation
• Sustainable Procurement
• Sustainable Buildings
• Access to Goods and Services for disadvantaged communities
• Environmental Improvement in SMEs

The awards are open to all UK-based organisations - voluntary, private and public sector. Organisations self-nominate and have till December 3rd to apply. The winner and runner up for each category are then put forward for the overall Award.
