Social Finance Group
Social Finance is a not for profit organisation that partners with the government, the social sector and the financial community to find better ways of tackling social problems in the UK and beyond. Our unique 50 member team comprises individuals with substantial financial, consulting and social expertise who share a common passion for solving entrenched social problems.
Since we started in 2007, Social Finance has raised over £24 million of social investment and designed a series of programmes to tackle social challenges. These include support for 2,000 short sentence offenders released from Peterborough Prison, 380 children on the edge of care in Essex, 2,500 young people at risk of becoming NEET and 800 rough sleepers in London. We are also alleviating fuel poverty for over 2,300 families in Sunderland, enabling 15,000 families to access nursery places and free children’s services, and providing 7,500 affordable micro loans in Wales.
Stewardship
Stewardship is a leading UK charity Donor Advised Fund promoting generous and tax-effective giving. Its award-winning Philanthropy Services team will partner with you to provide a personalised service that frees you from the complexities of making larger gifts so you can focus on supporting the causes you are passionate about. Services include social impact investing, legacy and estate giving, international grant making, research services and Stewardship’s innovative Donor Advisory Board, which uses the board structure to enable input from family, friends and advisers without the legal burden of charity trusteeship.
Stewardship was founded over a century ago by a small group of Christians who partnered to release generous gifts and financial support to Christian ministries. Today, we help over 30,000 people experience the joy of being generous stewards, giving more than £100 million each year to over 6,000 charities, 4,000 churches and 2,300 Christian workers.
Stonewall
Stonewall is here to let all lesbian, gay, bi and trans people, here and abroad, know they're not alone. We believe we're stronger united, so we partner with organisations that help us create real change for the better. We have laid deep foundations across Britain - in some of our greatest institutions - so our communities can continue to find ways to flourish, and individuals can reach their full potential. Stonewall works with individuals through a series personal and professional development programmes that enable people to connect with and influence others to challenge homophobic, biphobic and transphobic bullying. Through our Diversity Champions, we work with over 750 members across the public, private and third sectors to help them create inclusive and accepting environments for almost a quarter of the UK workforce. We campaign, lobby and fundraise to enable LGBT people to be themselves, whoever and wherever they are.

VisionFund
VisionFund is the world's largest Christian microfinance network, active in over 30 countries. We offer small loans, savings, and insurance to families living in poverty, especially those in hard-to-reach, rural locations. Almost half of our clients are small-holder farmers. As part of World Vision, we build economic resilience in communities to help children grow-up with improved nutrition, healthcare and access to education. This year we impacted the lives of over four million children, with nearly three-quarters of our loans going to women.

William Harvey Research Foundation
William Harvey Research addresses areas of unmet need in pharmacology and the life sciences, with a focus on early-stage research in cardiovascular disease, endocrine disorders, genomics and inflammation.
We exist because funding is limited for early-stage research: very few charities focus on this. Our research addresses many targets (for common and for rare diseases) where there is at present little or no effective treatment.
Statistics that put our research in perspective include the following: 60% of people over 65 in the UK suffer from heart disease; over 6000 patients are waiting to receive organ transplants, and these usually last on 10-15 years; 350,000 children’s lives are debilitated through heart conditions.
Innovative research at WHR is focussed on the advancement of knowledge and the development of new treatments, with the aim of improving these statistics.
Our focus on early-stage, pioneering research is performed at world-leading pharmacology centre, the William Harvey Research Institute. We advance medical knowledge, increase success in clinical trials, and create the potential for new treatments.
WHR’s robust financial model ensures 100% of all donations are used entirely to support research.
William Harvey Research comprises the William Harvey Research Foundation (the charitable arm), William Harvey Research Institute, and William Harvey Research Limited.
