Two hundred and fifty eight charities have benefited from grants of over £4.9M given by the Lloyds TSB Foundation for England and Wales in the last quarter to September.
The Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) has rejected the proposal made by a coalition of sector umbrella bodies to the Government's consultation on Gift Aid.
