The Beacon Philanthropy and Impact Forum 2026 will gather 500 leaders from across the UK’s impact economy for a focused examination of how private capital, public policy and civil society can respond to increasingly complex social and environmental challenges. Held at the Guildhall in London, the Forum has become a central meeting point for philanthropists, investors, government officials and practitioners who are shaping the next phase of the country’s impact landscape.
Delivered in partnership with New Philanthropy Capital (NPC) and Owen James, the Forum reflects the scale and ambition of the UK’s growing impact economy. Now in its eighth year, it has become a defining moment in the sector’s calendar, offering a rare space where leaders come together to debate ideas, learn from each other and consider the choices that will influence what happens next.
This year’s programme explores a question that is rising in importance across advisory practices, foundations and government departments. How can private wealth and public institutions work together with greater intention and effectiveness? Conversations will examine the development of the UK’s new Office for the Impact Economy, the expectations facing modern wealth holders and the partnerships required to support long-term progress in areas where political and market cycles may fall short.
The sessions are designed to encourage insight and constructive challenge. Through keynote contributions, expert-led discussions and small-group roundtables, participants will consider the incentives that shape decision making, the evidence that supports effective deployment of capital and the innovations that could strengthen the wider ecosystem. The aim is to support clearer understanding and more coordinated action at a moment when collaboration is becoming essential to achieving durable social and environmental progress.
