Ten billion plates of food go to waste in the United Kingdom each year - but at the same time eleven million people (including three million children) don't have enough to eat. 

 

This is why FareShare exists - to rescue good-to-eat 'surplus' and use it to lift people up and to strengthen communities. We provided 134 million meals last year (2023-24), cutting food waste and its harmful effects on our planet.
