Stewardship is a Christian charity that specialises in tax-effective giving using the Donor Advised Fund (DAF) model.
Stewardship oversees over £200m in charitable funds each year on behalf of over 950 philanthropy clients. It offers an in-house team of specialist experts and its pioneering Donor Advisory Board service, which allows philanthropists to benefit from the support of trusted third parties in their grant-making decisions without the burden of trusteeship. Stewardship’s Donor Advised Fund (DAF) payout rate, a key industry metric that reflects what proportion of charitable assets are granted to qualified charities, is also running at 57%, against an industry average of approximately 25%.
The team won ‘Best Philanthropy Initiative or Offering’ in the Wealth For Good Awards 2023 and ‘Philanthropy Team of the Year’ in STEP’s Private Client Awards in 2020.
