The Royal Academy Of Music
Britain’s oldest conservatoire, the Academy has trained some of the world’s most celebrated musicians with alumni including the founder of the BBC Proms Sir Henry Wood, and more recently Elton John, Evelyn Glennie, Simon Rattle, Annie Lennox, Max Richter, Sheku Kanneh-Mason and Jacob Collier.
Today 800 students from over 50 countries undertake undergraduate, postgraduate and research programmes, covering all classical disciplines (including all orchestral instruments, piano, vocal studies, composition and conducting), jazz and musical theatre.
Recognised throughout the world as a leader in its field, it is consistently ranked among the top four performing arts institutions in the QR Global Rankings.
