As a leading impact funder, Impetus' vision is for a society where all young people, regardless of background, get the right support to succeed in school, in work and in life. We work to transform the lives of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds by investing in high-potential organisations in the education and employment sectors. We give these organisations long-term funding, pro bono support and strategic guidance, while also influencing policy to deliver change at a systemic level. This unique combination of support equips our partners with the essential tools to make a real, lasting impact.
Impetus’ 2025 Impact Report outlines our unique model in more detail and provides an overview of the work we do with our partners, showing how we work in tandem to deliver meaningful impact for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. In 2024-25, Impetus supported 27 organisations, reached over 400,000 young people, delivered £8.5 million in value to our portfolio partners, and launched six research reports.
