Doing Good Index 2026: Aligning Systems to Strengthen Asia’s Social Sectors

The Centre for Asian Philanthropy and Society (CAPS) has released the Doing Good Index 2026, which examines the factors that enable or hinder private social investment across 17 Asian economies. The report finds that while Asia has strengthened the infrastructure supporting philanthropy and social impact, greater alignment between regulations, tax policies, ecosystem support and procurement systems is needed to unlock further growth and innovation. The report also explores the role of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), funding trends and technology adoption in shaping the region's social sector.
