FESTIVAL OF FINANCE 2026

The Festival of Finance is a new flagship event designed to bring together the UK’s financial advice and wealth management community for a data- and insight-driven experience.

Taking place on Tuesday 29 September 2026 at the Birmingham Repertory Theatre, the one-day event will connect around 500 senior advisers, wealth managers and industry leaders, offering a blend of insight, innovation and meaningful connection across the sector.

Hosted by Owen James Events, the Festival is proudly supported by Philanthropy Impact and the wider Fintel group, including Defaqto, SimplyBiz, and threesixty.

The event will be structured across multiple zones, including the Strategy Studio, CPD-focused Academy, Innovation Zone, Wealth Way exhibition area and Wellness Hub. This will enable attendees to tailor their experience while engaging with the issues shaping the future of advice and wealth management.

Global investment manager Invesco has been confirmed as the first headline sponsor. Keynote speakers will include Justin King CBE, former Chief Executive of Sainsbury’s, and Sir Alastair Cook, former England cricket captain.

Attendees will hear from regulatory and industry voices across the day, with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) confirmed to take part in the programme. Discussions will explore the themes shaping the sector, including regulation, operating models, client expectations, innovation, growth and the future direction of advice.

The Festival will also offer CPD-accredited learning, keynote sessions, curated discussions, live technology demonstrations and high-quality networking across a festival-style format.
